Totara Junior School Assembly 


Whanau Totara ran the Junior School Assembly on Monday and what a show it was!!  Well done to all the children you did a fantastic job!!  I felt so proud  as the children sang and danced their hearts out as they performed the Maori action song 'Korero'.  Special recognition needs to go to Charlie for reciting his Pepeha, and  Elyssa, Hunter and Ibrahim represented our class with speaking roles.  




The children had fun designing their own Maori headbands and wore them with pride.  The song related to our Term 4 Inquiry topic 'Two Worlds Meet'.

Grandparents Day and Book Week Book week is always fun, especially when we end the week with a Book Character Dress Up Day! Combining this with Grandparents Day and Class Reward Day makes it the BEST DAY EVER according to the Room 26 children.
